The story has a nice pace, especially on a new game plus play through and there are plenty of side quests to do but they're entirely your choice. My only major complaint is with the combat system, the target lock is clumsy and can get you killed, especially in enclosed areas where you have to fight with the camera angle as well. Assassin's Creed Origins was everything I wanted and needed.
