Anki error downloading media files android
Can I open it again? Please help me. Skip to content. Star 4. New issue. Jump to bottom. Labels Bug Priority-High. Copy link. Import failed. Only difference last line in error log says: KeyError: "There is no item named u'11' in the archive" Additional info: When trying export of complete collection with media I got error message "error exporting collection" on Android.
Missed action on False media references when checking media You could try it. Which I found from this reddit comment. During the sync process, there will be an error similar to this:. Decide you can live without that. This time when pulling from ankiweb, you'll get the same error about a different file:.
Since these are different. On desktop, open your file manager and find all files in collection. Delete them, check media, sync from desktop to ankiweb. I'm not sure if there's anything AD can really do. I didn't make the deck, but afaict there's no real need for it to contain such emojis in the name of. I'm hoping to point the deck maintainers to this issue and request they change the file names. Refer to the support page if you are unsure where to get the "debug info".
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:. I'd suggest leaving the issue open, then. Even if it's not supposed to work, we should at least add an understandable error message. Sorry, something went wrong. I'm Anki user since Never had any problems.
Now it has been 3 days I cant get acces to AnkiMobile. It seems a recent update probably on ankiweb's side has broken ankidroid's sync ability given all the users having problems. The reason I say its ankidroid is because the ankiweb website still works fine. If you import the deck by USB onto ankidroid and upload to ankiweb, it will give this error when downloading to desktop:.
If you import the ankidroid deck to anki desktop, it will give the errors above: "Sync error The downloaded file couldn't bsaved to the SD card. Either the card is mounted read-only or there isn't enough space. Something I also noticed with this error is that the sync download will jump from 0 KB to some high number and rise gradually before eventually giving the SD card error.
I've factory reset my phone and the issue persists, strengthening the idea that it's an ankidroid-side issue. I'll give anyone any information to get this fixed. Help is greatly appreciated! Thanks, looking into it. We haven't pushed an update in a while, so it may be an AnkiWeb change. Sync Error: Sync failed. Please visit ankiweb. Now when I try to sync I get this other error. Any ideas? I can't find a place to confirm the updated terms and conditions in my 2 accounts, but I did try to log out and in with both accounts on ankiweb.
Same errors when trying to sync. I also tried to create a new ankiweb account and upload my desktop profile to ankiweb, which works fine i'm able to answer on ankiweb and sync back to anki desktop. But the new account has the same behavior and error when trying to sync to ankidroid. The same has happened to me. I've created 3 new accounts. Have reinstalled AnkiDesktop in multiple pcs and AnkiMobile in mutiples devices. Nothing has worked. Have restored my cellphone and loose all data.
AnkiMobile still not syncing. It made me very worried about using AnkiMobile for my tests. Just to be clear on one point: AnkiMobile is the iOS version and is not related to us here in any way.
We are AnkiDroid and work on Android. I think based on your screenshots this is just a name confusion and otherwise we are all talking about the same thing, but I want to be clear on that point in case you reach out for support in other channels - if you say AnkiMobile when you mean AnkiDroid it will be very confusing for people.
Anything on your side which would be relevant here? Relevant code for "SD Card" error - likely downloading non-standard file content. It might be worth looking into the AnkiDroid directory and seeing if a collection. EDIT: Further reading the code, it probably won't be. If it is, could you send it to my gmail: davidallisongithub, or upload it to Google Drive with a "permission request" to access.
I'm not sure what this file will contain, so it's best not to share it publicly. The 'must confirm terms to proceed' is a recent change, but that should result in a message to the user.
